Your Tasks
As part of our team, you will drive the further development of our core software solution for the financial settlement of energy and commodity trades.
- Process transaction data from exchanges in both frontend and backend systems
- Design, build, and operate interfaces to internal and external systems via messaging (ESB) and web services
- Create reports for various stakeholders
- Apply a domain-driven design approach and collaborate closely with business departments
- Understand business needs and translate them into efficient software solutions
- Contribute to the full software lifecycle: from idea and planning to design, implementation, and deployment
- Work with modern technologies including public cloud environments and OpenShift for containerization
- Collaborate in an agile (SCRUM) and growing team environment
You can work either from our office high above the rooftops of Leipzig or remotely from home.

Your Skills
- Completed degree or apprenticeship with initial professional experience in Java development
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and clean code principles
- Experience with SQL queries and DBMS such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with DevOps tools, especially build servers like Jenkins and pipeline creation
- Experience with containerization and cluster tools (e.g., Helm, Buildah, Podman) is a plus
- Ideally, experience with Spring / Spring Boot and frontend technologies like React, Vue.js, or Angular
- Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies
- Very good English communication skills
- Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills
