To strengthen our team in Jaipur, we are looking for a Senior Backend Developer (m/f/d) in the fast-growing field of process integration and simulation data management.

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be part of the core tech team in Jaipur, collaborating with developers in Germany. You will design, implement, and deliver reliable backend features that drive the success of our product portfolio.

SCALE India’s software development or tech team would function as an extension of the software development team at various locations in Germany, assisting in the development of the SCALE.sdm product portfolio and thus contributing to the success of brand SCALE.
Your Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex features into existing software architecture
• Design and implement complex features in existing software architectures, optimize code for efficiency and usability
• Work according to agile development processes
• Translate customer requirements into reusable solutions, participate in code reviews, and apply modern development practices
• Collaborate seamlessly within a multisite, multicultural, and multinational team
• Assist in troubleshooting of development and production-related technical issues

Your Profile

• At least 5 years of professional experience in software application development
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Python, Django, and REST APIs
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, databases, and SQL
• Experience with Angular/JavaScript is a plus
• Familiar with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines
• Passionate about technology and eager to stay up to date with current trends
• Willingness to work regularly on-site in Dresden
• Strong team player with a proactive mindset

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Master’s degree preferred
