Laboratory Technician / Chemical Assistant, (m/f/d) - no regular shift work!

We are looking for a
Chemical Technician / Assistant, Chemistry (m/f/d)
with special interests in
*applied modern synthetic organic chemistry
*research and development
The applicant is expected to work self-motivated with a high degree of personal responsibility supporting the R&D of our company. While the candidate is not required to have already gained experiences in industry, she or he should have successfully completed any professional training in a field related to laboratory work (chemistry, biology), preferably with a proven focus on organic syntheses.
We are looking for chemistry focused applicants or for excellent professionals with comparable qualifications.
The main tasks of the vacant position as “Chemical Technician” include:
*Experimental work in the lab including reaction tests, reaction validations, analytical investigations and preparation of the scaling-up
*Close collaboration with chemists, project leaders and other laboratory technicians of our team
*Identification of technical problems and suggestions/measures to overcome them
*Detailed documentation of experiments and analytical results
*Active participation in - contribution to - all internal processes of quality management, safety and permanent improvement
*Support of our kg-lab (operating 60 l to 100 l glass-lined multi-purpose reactors and their periphery)
Depending on the skills, experiences and interests of the candidate, further tasks or responsibilities in purchasing, safety or quality control could also be assigned. The position of the Manager of the kg-lab is one of the possible developmentl options.
This position requires a sound knowledge basis as well as good practical skills in the field of synthetic chemistry and the ability to combine R&D approaches with industrial needs and economic figures. An understanding of the chemical industry and the will to contribute to innovation by chemical R&D is advantageous.
The applicant should be able to understand & to speak English and (at least a basic level of) German. First experiences in a related working environment are regarded as plus, but are not required.
